Leader of the ensemble Earth People, esteemed percussionist André Martinez hosts a listening session as part of Open Plan: Cecil Taylor. Martinez performed in hundreds of shows as a member of the Cecil Taylor Unit from 1981 to 1992. He will share selections from his archive, which contains countless rare audio and video recordings of the Unit’s concerts during this period.
